We make and bake daily... from scratch... so relax, its coming! Please excuse if we sell out - we do aim for that!

All the eggs used are free-range
Our lamb and venison is organic and free range, who knows about the beef...

Deviations to the menu will most likely be met with some aggressive behaviour, and could result in a wait that might go on forever... and ever...

Not all the ingredients we use are listed on the menu

The food and atmosphere aim here is mostly unpretentious, so should you need a more uppity tone we can do so by prior arrangement

We do try to cater for the dieters, the bingers, the banters, the indulgers and everyone fabulous, please ask for suggestions with regards to allergies, intolerances, restrictions, and restraints...

We have selected items on the menu that do not contain some of the following ingredients: meat, fish, garlic, wheat, gluten, starch, carbs, nuts, eggs, alcohol, lactose and calories

The garden area mostly goes ignored and unpatrolled. We kindly request your presence announced at the counter if you snuck in through the Agapanthus, and need sustenance sent into that direction

We do try our utmost to accommodate technological equipment with regards to plugs, in-house charging, lost wi-fi signals, heat, flies, and spilt coffee, unfortunately using technology anywhere in Africa is done so entirely at your own risk!

The road works in and around Afro-Boer, Meerlust Avenue and Lynnwood oad is scheduled to be completed early November ummm 2016... and the completion of the new development opposite our entrance in ummm, well ok let's just say 2020...
